UniFi Network 10.4 Adds Routing, IPv6, and Fleet Improvements

Ubiquiti has released details of UniFi Network 10.4, with updates across routing, resilience, VPN connectivity, infrastructure visibility, and multi-site management.

The release adds native eBGP support, clearer OSPF visibility, WireGuard VPN over IPv6, improved Teleport behaviour for networks behind CG-NAT, and expanded 5G telemetry inside the UniFi interface.

Why It Matters

UniFi is increasingly relevant beyond simple Wi-Fi deployments. For growing businesses with multiple sites, VPN requirements, failover needs, and more formal network documentation, these management and visibility improvements can reduce the amount of external tooling required.

The headline feature for many operators is not one specific protocol. It is the direction of travel: UniFi is becoming more useful for businesses that need clearer routing, site consistency, and operational history without moving into a heavy enterprise stack.
